LS Visuals is an independent media company based in Philadelphia. With multiple photographers, videographers, and editors, we serve the entire Philly metro area, Bucks, Montgomery, and Lehigh Counties.
In addition to our real estate ventures, we produce sports media for athletic organizations across the United States and Canada.
Life Story
Our Founder, Lisa Schreiber, was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. Growing up surrounded by the luminous surroundings of Ba-Kaap, Lisa developed a passion for visual arts and narrative photography at a young age. As a third-generation artist, this creativity was fully embraced by her mother, and she enrolled in a darkroom photography course at the early age of 13, and then the Orms Cape Town School of Photography at 17.
During her sophomore year, Lisa's life took a dramatic turn when she met her now-husband Mark while on a scuba diving trip in Simonstown. Swept away by love, Lisa followed her heart to the States and the City of Brotherly Love.
Lisa did continue her education and finished her studies at Drexel University in 2019. There, she developed her love of architectural photography, photojournalism and creating artistic photographs full of emotion and spontaneity. Her discreet manner and intuitive nature have allowed her to capture countless, otherwise-fleeting moments in private sessions, athletic events, and even occasional weddings.
Lisa's great loves are her husband, craft beers, travel, and creating at her home studio in Chestnut Hill where she lives with her Mark and two cats .
Luck & Serendipity
In 2022, in a fortuitous meeting, Lisa partnered with Cheryl Ellis and began to expand her vision.
At her core, Cheryl is a storyteller, and she brings that value to every project she develops. She is a licensed Realtor, a certified professional photographer, an accredited journalist and media professional, and DMI certified.
In the 1990's Cheryl worked as a production assistant for two major television networks in Los Angeles; in the 2000's she was a contributor for more than eight newspapers in California and in the Philadelphia-metro area; and she has worked as a producer on multiple full-length, independent films.
Cheryl was a collegiate athlete, having briefly played softball for Pierce College Brahmas in LA, and later, intermural ball at Temple University in Philly. Her passion for sports has never left her. Today, she is an active member of the international paintball community, and working to build awareness of the sport around the globe.
While working in many facets of media and in creative fields, Cheryl also became involved in real estate development, and in 2016 became a licensed Realtor in order to further that goal. In 2021, Cheryl determined to combine her passions in media and in real estate to help build an organization that brings real estate listings to life through story.
Her energy and passion for storytelling flow through in all of her work, and have become the foundation for the company culture at LS Visuals.
